The House Across the Street

A beautiful afternoon when I am outside painting the front spindles of the ramp and deck. Taking photos of the cats and the changing trees against the blue sky. Indian Summer is raging over here.
While painting I just saw a little baby preying/praying mantis. It is about an inch long. Could be a male but there is a slim change it will make it until snow falls. I wonder if they hibernate? It is the same colour as the sweet pea plant. Not yet able to photo it.
