Another cat photo

I honestly thought I'd taken a better photo than this, but now that I think about it I had a crazy busy day that didn't leave a lot of time for photos!

I started the day by going out to NMIT, one of the places I'm applying to for next year. I had an appointment to talk to the photo imaging course coordinator to go through some of my photos and have a look around the photography studios and classrooms. It was really great to go and actually talk to someone, especially since I missed the NMIT open day. I really don't mind which place I go to, I just hope I get an offer for at least one of them!

I got home in time for a bit of lunch before rushing off into the city for my first Fringe Festival shift. It was at the Digital Gardens, which is an interactive video game thing that includes this high tech virtual reality headset. All the volunteers got to try it and it was really trippy - I didn't like it much because I get motion sick but it's kind of cool to be able to say I've tried virtual reality. I had a lot of fun coaching people through the game though, people were really enjoying it and it's nice to know you're contributing to that!

So all of that means that this photo is awful, which is a shame! Oh well, some times having a good busy day is better than getting the perfect photo.
