Bagno Vignoni

A day of dodging showers, and we were incredibly lucky, as the bad weather seemed to miss us all day. We got close to getting wet at times, but generally got the best of what was going!

First stop of the day was to Bagno Vignoni, a spa town, with a sulphur spring in the centre, feeding this stream and waterfall with hot spring water running down the hill to sulphur pools.

I liked the little sapling in the foreground, and the sulphurous deposits on the ground.
