All is safely gathered in

The Oxfordshire countryside had a look of autumn with the fields either harvested or newly ploughed and some of the trees beginning to turn. But it was a clear day with continuous warm sunshine, for us hard to believe. We can no longer say "It always rains when we go to the Cotswolds"! We went for a local walk with our host keen to show us this, her favourite view. Later we were taken on a long drive through pretty villages and over hills with stunning views. It is no wonder it is one of Britain's favourite inland tourist destinations.
