How To Train An Author

Entirely not the photo I was expecting to post today.

Had plans to go looking for conkers in Bushy Park ready for Milo's 'Conker Competition' at school with more than half an eye on getting some great Autumn colours / leaves / conkers - type-shots y'know, being a gorgeous sunny day, bright colours and all.

After a very good swim at Hampton Lido with Milo we made tracks for Kingston and lunch, only to find Cressida Cowell, Author of one of Milo's favourite book series, (Hiccup the Viking's none too steady rise to be King of the the Wilderwest, oh and lots of Dragon adventure along the way), signing the latest and penultimate book in Kingston Waterstones.

Despite lack of lunch it was an opportunity not to be missed, and a rare event - namely a normally confident and verbose Milo lost for words ;)
