Built in 1846, the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is the world's oldest cast iron lighthouse.

Hurricane Bill struck the tiny island of Bermuda today. It wasn't as extreme as we expected. There was just a lot of wind and some rain. Maybe a lightning or two. The U.S.A. weather channel made a huge deal out of nothing. Out of all the places Hurricane Bill has hit and is expected to hit, Bermuda was supposed to be hit the hardest. If this is as bad as it could get, then no one on the east coast of the U.S.A. should worry at all. Leave it to us Americans to make a mountain out of a molehill.

The windy/rainy/stormy day was spent chilling in the hot tub outside of the hotel. We also received relaxing treatment at the spa, which was followed by a dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant.

Hurricane, schmurricane.
