Locks

Apparently it has become a tradition to fasten a lock to the rails of a bridge here in Paris with the names of lovers or friends. It looks as if it has gotten totally out of control on this bridge at the back of the beautiful Notre Dame. There is even an enterprising shop close to it that sells locks that it will engrave with the names (probably at a premium price!). We saw one guy frantically trying to unlock one lock, maybe he broke up with his love and wanted to throw the lock into the water.
