Cox Apples

My mother always said that you shouldn't pick apples until after they had the October sun on them, so here's hoping for another glorious sunny day tomorrow when they should be ripe for picking! Both the Cox and Bramley apple trees are laden but most of them are too high for me to reach, so I'm waiting for a tall, unsuspecting person to come calling so I can nab them for apple picking duties!
