Hints of Autumn

This is one of my favourite views on my ride home from work. Once I turn the corner in the middle of Bents Lane I can see our house (on a clear day) across the valley. If the weather is fine then I will amble in the hope of catching wildlife or something interesting in the fields, but if I'm tired or wet or windblown or frozen stiff then I'm pedalling hard for home. My blip is taken as I turn out from the end of Bents Lane down towards our village with our street on the hillside. Just a hint of autumn colours beginning to show in the woodland of St Ives.
