Arrived to Amsterdam

The internet is sort of an on/off thing in this hotel...

We left the area around Burgum and the championship venue this morning and went to see Leeuwarden, a lovely little town. We took the boys for a walk, enjoyed the town and had lunch.

We continued to Amsterdam and arrived to our new hotel at 5ish. Our hotel in Burgum was fantastic. The one in Amsterdam is not! Our room looks like a prison cell. Seriously - it does! We were a bit worried about it, when we first saw it, but then we decided that it was just a place to sleep, so it will be ok.

We fed dogs in the car, whilst Helle and I unpacked and then we took the train to the city center - with 4 dogs of course! We had a lovely walk in a very busy city. The dogs coped so well and seemed to enjoy all the attention. Amsterdam is a very dog friendly city and it was so easy to have them with us.
We bought some yummy sandwichs and took back to the hotel for dinner and now Helle and all of the dogs are sleeping and I am ready for a shower... if I can get the internet to work for long enough to upload this blip.
