Autumn leaves

We're back from France, and again have access to broadband, so can restart my photo journal. I felt somewhat cut off from this part of my life while away and realised not only how useful it is for me to keep a photo journal of my days, so I can remember what I've done and when, but also to be able to keep in touch with others in the blip community. I'll catch up with comments over the next few days.

When we left for our break, it still seemed like summer, and now it's definitely autumn and our lovely Liquid Amber tree is just starting to turn. It's in the front garden and so I see it every day from my kitchen window. Some years the leaf colour is truly magnificent and I hope this will be one of those years. For me, the autumn really starts when those leaves start turning red.
