We Solemnly Swear We Are Up To No Good

'Four Muggles caught butter bear handed behind the wheel of a flying Ford Anglia It really is hard to believe, but seeing is believing. Whatever next!?' Thankfully, not a headline in the Daily Prophet.

Yes we had an incredible evening out at the Making of Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio Tour. What an marvellous & magical experience it was, with so much to see & take in, it really is a jaw-dropping spectacle & great fun too.

Our highlights, of which there were cauldrons full, included: entering the great hall of Hogwarts through the big wooden entrance doors (adorned with shiny brass handles for good measure), broomstick flying around Hogwarts Castle & on the Quidditch pitch (some green screen action may have been involved, but you'll have to go yourself to find out!); sampling the wizard-world famous Butterbeer, which truth be told doesn't really taste of anything, or anything particularly tasty at the very least, & was more a joy to finish & sling than drink, but still a fun experience; & marvelling at the scale & detail of the Hogwarts model.

Earlier in the day, the four of us has breakfasted at the Waffle House in St Albans. Oh my God pretty much sums it up. The perfectly made waffles & the stack of sweet & savouries on top of them were heavenly. We had butterscotch & flapjack with ice cream & chocolate sprinkles, banoffee pie, all served with sliced banana & extra bacon for good measure. We had delicious milk shakes & coffees to wash it down. I need one of these near me or preferably in an extension of our flat. We all need a little waffle. We then set about digesting our waffle babies by have a meander around the beautiful township of St Albans. It was bustling with life, a street long open market with foods & all manners of different bits & bobs was a go, & a herd of Morris men entertained the masses with their bobbing & sick bashing.

What a wickedly, spellbinding & enchanting day.

Mischief managed.
