Canon Beach Pelican

I drove up to University of Washington and met with two faculty of Architecture who are doing some really cool studies involving green buildings, Life Cycle Assessment, occupant behavior, and microbial ecosystems on building services and their interaction with occupant health.

After being awed by science, I drove around getting awed by nature. Through mountains and forests, I finally landed on the beach of the Goonies and found it full of birds and wind. It was so immensely gorgeous and worth my meandering drive. (As were the huge lush forests and the rolling mountains). I wish I had a few years to hike and explore this area- and who knows!
