Herd testing time

This afternoon we did our first herd test for the season, and it was our first herd test since we did our alterations to the cowshed. These are the flasks that collect the sample of milk. The flask is numbered (with the cow's herd number), a lid is put on the flask, and is then put in the hole in the tray that relates to the number on the flask. We had a lovely warm day today. It is so nice to get the washing dry on the outside clothes line. Time for bed - we have another herd test in the morning, so it is an early start. Goodnight.
