Peng Chau

today is National Day in Hong Kong and a holiday, so I decided to go and explore another Island, Peng Chau. This is a lovely, tiny island, with no motorised transport, which is great making wandering around an easy pastime

This picture shows the tiny Kam Fa temple at the end of the street with an army of helpers wearing red t-shirts busy organising the distribution of rice and other foods to the elderly of the district.

This is only a fraction of the queue, which was probably 6 times longer. They waited patiently and talked vigorously to one another. Many of them were provided with seats to help them with the wait.
