Satisfaction

For some odd reason I enjoy digging, so it was a pleasure to complete the first patch of autumn digging at our plot in bright sunshine today: this patch will host our tatties next season so it got a good layer of dung added. The Tom Thumbs belong to our neighbour, but in the background you may see neeps, rasps, leeks and runner beans - all of which have done well this year. Not down to our skill - it's just been a fantastic growing season!
