Sunrise over Suffolk

For me it's always hard to capture the essence of sunrise and sunset in a photo, but my new camera has a 'dawn/dusk' setting on it so I thought i'd give it a go, and I took this pic from the window of the bus on my way to work. So i'm quite pleased with it.

I love the fact that when the sun is very low in the sky it's dimmer, so you can look at it without it hurting your eyes and just appreciate the wonder of the big ball of fire it is, burning at just the right intensity and distance to support life on Earth. And also appreciate the rainbow of pastel colours that the sky becomes at the same time!
