All in a Good Cause

Last week I was talking at an event. At the same event were lots of stands. At one such stand was the great organisation Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA). I just had to have a blether with the folks there. They were telling me about the prevention work that they do in schools and how it was such an important part of what they do. I so enjoyed chatting with them and hearing about their work. I just about had the SSPCA on speed dial at one time as I seemed to keep coming across wild beings that needed their help including one wee baby duck that had got separated from its mother and siblings. Anyway, I asked if I might have one of their pens to take away - and they gave me a few. Thought I would blip them as every time I look at them it makes me smile and it reminds me of the lovely conversation I had with them.
