Ancient and Wild Jordan
After work Chilean Luz, Fillipina Lou and I jumped into a taxi and headed for the Citadel, sadly too late to get into the Roman Theatre although we had a great stroll around the Roman ruins. Maybe we'll make it there on Friday.
Afterwards we headed to Wild Jordan - an ecotourism initiative that includes a cafe on a terrace with breathtaking views over Amman at night towards the Citadel and the stunning Temple of Hercules, illuminated in the night sky. To our left was the huge Jordanian flag that tops the Raghadan Palace - it is one of the largest flags in the world measuring 30mx60m atop a 132m flagpole.
Sadly my little Ixus could not do justice to the phenomenal view so here's a more modest one of the Roman ruins.
