Just a blur

It was the September weekend holiday, but only Iain and I were on holiday. As it was sunny (ish) I decided we should have a day out and make the most of the day. So off we went to Millport. We arrived in Largs just in time to get a ferry, so we jumped on, then decided to walk into Millport instead of getting the bus. It was a lovely walk, but hard work as the wind was really strong. I thought the island would be busy, as it was the last holiday weekend of the season, but it was very quiet. And the chip shop was closed, which limited the options for lunch as we had the dog with us and had to eat out of doors.
Anyway, after eating our sandwich in the shelter, taking refuge from the wind, we decided to walk along the almost empty beach. Bella was very happy, and made a bee line for the water. With a wet dog in tow, that meant we had to walk back too. At least the chippy in Largs was open when we got back :)
