October 1st and the hawthorn berries have started to fall by these little daisies which just flower happily for months on end. Next spring, there will be more tiny hawthorn trees sprouting up around the garden. This is very useful, as I am planning a hawthorn hedge! Just imagine how lovely it will look in May - well, eventually!
We had lunch in town - whole grain sandwiches with a huge filling of egg mayonnaise. (Guiltily followed by coffee and a little pecan slice!). Delicious!
