Back home ...

I love being able to come back to Mid Argyll for work . I grew up here and ,when I return, there is always a strong sense of familiarity and belonging. My old family home is gone now, but some of my parents friends and friends of mine still live here and I love seeing them. This is a photo of the Crinan Canal at Oakfield bridge.
I walked up through the Oakfield estate until I felt uncomfortable about the private signs and gates which were unfamiliar to me.
The woods were still green with some Autumn colours , but the conkers had fallen and covered the path.
A lovely day...with some work too :-)
