Nasturtium...a colourful addition to a salad...

According to the Royal Horticultural Society, the petals from these cheerful little flowers are edible and taste quite peppery and hot. Has anyone tried adding them to a salad?
Today was the September weekend Monday holiday, and the weather was nice, although not as warm as the previous couple of days.
Some months earlier, I had recklessly agreed to host a function this evening and getting organised for that rather dominated the day. Happily the event went well... much to my relief!
