Blowing a proper gale here today with some very moody skies. Can't do the walk I had planned because a forest walk in these gales is too dangerous. Instead I drive into Twizel to pick up some firelighters and then do a walk round Kelland Ponds. Not a tree in sight. Made walking hard work but at least wasn't flattened!
