L'Ile du Berceau

A lovely afternoon, so I went walking along the Seine, past some beautiful big homes overlooking the river, on the other side to where we live, along to the village of Samois sur Seine and onto L'Ile du Berceau, where this scene quite appealed to me with its dappled shade. I sat in the sunshine for a while, hoping for a barge to go by, but all was quiet on the river, apart from ducks and swans.
