Mundy and Ethanol

Another of Mundy's sunpaintings. This one dedicated to Ethel, girlfriend of John, a friend in Zimbabwe. John spent so much time and money on fuel driving up to Victoria Falls from Harare to visit her, we all called her Ethanol, which made her laugh.

She was a very pretty girl with long legs, big eyes and hair that hung down in locks - depicted here using torn newsprint!

Sadly, she died of Aids a year or so after we met, but this fun picture recalls happy times in her company.
