High in the mountains
The mountains were 15 minutes drive away from the city. Our half an hour walk turned into 2.5 hour one, as we got on a different route. It was very pleasant though, and even one adventure of crossing a stream. We haven't spotted any koalas. But now I know what a tea tree lools like and that it likes to have its roots in a water ot near it. It must be tough luck for these tea trees in South Australia, getting their roots wet only in autumn/winter season.
I had a funny conversation with Hanna tonight, which started with the question if I'd been to Disneyland as a little girl, and why not. When I said I dodn't know about it, Hanna asked why I hadn't looked on a laptalk (laptop is often used for talking to people on Skype). And then it started what we used to have or not. After admitting we didn't have computers, laptops, mobiles, dvd players, Hanna said very seriously: you were not very lucky. I didn't even tell her that our first TV set was b&w and that there was only 10 minutes of cartoons every evening, not channelfuls.
