Gather Ye Rosebuds

There are two buds here, and another two in a second vase, all of which I collected in the back yard/garden during a break in the rain -- but will they fulfill their destiny as beautifully as this full-blown rose, now that they are in captivity?

And will I come up with something as appealing for my 730th blip on Thursday?
