Virginia Creeper

Today Gina and I rode the 34 mile rail trail that begins at 3500 ft at White Top, just north of the North Carolina border. Fortunately it has a long downhill to Damascus before ending with an 8 mile climb to Abingdon. It was a perfect day and a beautiful ride. After a rest and dinner, we saw an excellent production of the Cole Porter musical "Kiss Me Kate". Tomorrow we drive to Charlotte to visit With Bannan and his parents.
