Spring Willows
The willows lining the banks of the Taylor River are so lovely and fresh looking at the moment. All dressed up in their best spring greens.
Today’s image is looking downstream towards Mount Robertson in the Richmond Range. I have captured the same scene earlier in the year in winter. It looks totally different now. The splashes of orange in the foreground are Californian Poppies. It was still fairly early in the morning and the poppies were only just unfurling their petals after their night’s sleep. They are a lovely sight at this time of the year.
