Colonial type house in Rotorua

We have travelled south and were surprised to see a lot of wood clad house of the type seen in the States. The landscape has been very similar to the English one. Toto dura is a volcanic town with lots of geysers, mud pools, hot lakes and mineral spa complexes. We enjoyed the museum in the old spa/bath building. A beautiful building with a great exhibition on the Maori history and culture. Tonight we are travelling to the Art Deco town of Napier.
