Fly the flag

Today's the day ......................... to communicate

One of the things that I intend to have one of these days - is a flagpole in the garden.

I mean, how nice would it be to be able to hoist the flag of your choice to announce to the world that you were celebrating or remembering something in particular? Something like - a special event in another country, the winning of a match, a good holiday - or, like this one in the garden of my brother's neighbour's house, simply the fact that you were No 9 in the road.
