Les Pyrenees

We got up at 4.25am and left home at 5am! The motorways were horrendous with driving rain and lots of lorries even at that time in the morning. We managed to get to Stanstead in time though and have now arrived at the Hotel near Biarritz. There won't be much time for taking blips tonight so here is the view from the plane as we were coming in to land. It is very hot here and beautiful!
Just off to get ready for a drinks reception, followed by a talk in French (help!) about the region, followed by a meal!
