Inverness has two Eskers and one of them can be seen here.
One Esker is Torvean Quarry which is all dug up.
The other is Tomnahurich Cemetery which you would not want to dig up.
Some years ago there was a murder in Inverness and the victim was taken to this cemetery and buried. An ingenious plan you may think but the culprits were found out!
