Beauty is all around us.

A rose, Autumn leaves and our cats.

There is no relationship, symbolic or otherwise, to any of the photos in my blip today, and I just put these in the collage because they appealed to me.
Yesterday I walked to the next town on from here, Clayton le Moors, to see if a Tescos had taken over the Co-op, so I could buy a Daily Mail, and get the free Swan Lake CD.
The Co-op was still there, so I walked home, thinking of what to blip, and like a child, I delighted in the Autumn leaves and looked for a handful to collect, bring home and photo. I actually rinsed them under the tap.
I arranged them on a clean white pizza base which provided a nice background!
Today, I have been to my Slimming World group at the Cricket Club.
After our indulgent holiday in Aviemore, visiting a great sweet shop and a Walker's shortbread shop, my weight is a pound above target.
I must put the breaks on my comfort eating of biscuits and cakes and chocolate treats, before things get worse!
It was good to see so many new people there. I chatted to a kind lady called Alice.
Andrea our SW consultant works tirelessly to leaflet the area and encourage people to join the group if they need help with their weight loss journey, and to maintain it.
I was at target for a good few months and will get back there by Wednesday week.
Maria is tired, eating better, but making lots of new friends in her college house at the university. Paul works in Beverley on Friday, so is going on a flying visit to see she is okay.
This evening the Fresher's activity is a ghost walk in York.
I hope you all have a great evening blipper friends.
