Today's been a blur

We're leaving at lunchtime tomorrow, having spent a total of 11 weeks here this year. We'll be back for 6 days in November to "batten the hatches" - winter is very severe in these hills. No matter how much we try to do in advance, there always seems to be a lot to do at the last minute. The biggest job today was neatly stacking 3 tonnes of chopped firewood in the garage for the wood burners. I'll be stiff tomorrow!

I was reading an article yesterday about "ICM" (intentional camera blur - as opposed to when someone else jogs your arm). You can probably just about make out the red geraniums on the side of the pool with the pine trees in the background :-))
