Rain, rain go away...
Mr Dazed had planned to take his Nan out shopping today but we had a call this morning from the ambulance service to say that she'd had a fall. She's ok - more shaken up than anything - but as she's 96 they want to keep her in tonight for observation. Mr Dazed has spent all day driving about from the hospital to her flat to pick up things for her, then back to the hospital, then back to the flat because she'd forgotten her washbag. He's still not back yet but I have dinner ready for the second he comes in the door so that I can feed the poor man before he has to rush off to band practise. Not a relaxing Sunday for him.
He didn't want me to cancel my lunch plans today but I still felt guilty having a big nosh in Vittoria's whilst he and his Nan were in the hospital. My lovely friend J and her husband E were up from Leeds for a wedding and I've not seen them for ages - J since last November and E since I can't remember when. It was great to see them and have a catch up, I wish I didn't have so many friends who live far away! I'm hopefully going to visit her in Leeds in November.
J was kind enough to pull a face for my camera and said I could do what I liked with it :) I did consider making her my blip but I'm trying to recruit her so didn't want to scare her off...
