the crazies

Up at the crack of dawn with Elizabeth and Sarah jumping on my bed :) We sat and watched a few episodes of Scooby Doo and then the rest of the house got up. Paddy made us wee mini Dutch pancakes for breakfast. So good! The girls and I walked to the shop and got some stuff we needed for the carrot cake we were going to bake. This is them posing at a "rest stop" on the way. It's only a 15-minute walk! We made the carrot cake, had some lunch and then taste-tested our wares. Pretty darn good. So great to spend some time with the girls. Bizzy was brilliant at reading the ingredients out and Sarah was fantastic at mixing. They also recited me a poem each that they had to learn for school. In French. I was so impressed. Marie-Claire's speaking is coming on leaps and bounds too. Back home for a Skype with Luce <3 <3 <3
