September Challenge: Day 28 ....
Ordinary.
Well, today was anything but ordinary!
We were up early (at least for me!) so that we could travel south to Dover, Delaware and attend the Nationwide Cup NASCAR race. It's about a 2 and a half hour drive and we wanted to be there by 10:30 am.
The place was crazy when we got there but after figuring out where to park we enjoyed ourselves immensely! This is the first time we have been to this race track and didn't know what to expect. Certainly didn't expect soooooo many race goers! The Nationwide Cup races aren't usually as busy as the Sprint Cup races, which was held on Sunday.
During the race I happened to notice this (probably drunk) individual giving the finger to the race leader ~ Kyle Busch. Every time Kyle would come around this guy would stand up and give him the finger. It started as just a single finger and progressed to the double finger giving you see here. Unfortunately, this is a very ordinary sight at many races!
BTW: The pink car in the photo is NOT Kyle Busch. And, sadly, Kyle did not go on to win the race!
