BethaBlip 82...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Bethany has had ongoing hospital appointments as we've been trying to suss out what's going on with her innards. I got quite a shock the other day when she was showing me her skipping and her stomach sounded an awful lot more joogley that it really should. One of the avenues which has been suggested is trying both dairy and wheat free on different occasions. This month we tried a two week period of dairy free. It went quite well and there was only a couple of whiney parts to it. I think partly this was caused because we told her about changes that we had to make for it. I think if we hadn't told her the lactose free milk was being used, she wouldn't have noticed.

Bethany and Jasmine next door have been going to Rainbows for a good wee while now. This month she moved up into Brownies by default of her age, now being seven years old. There was a wee bit of chat about her waiting as a Rainbow until Jasmine came of age in December but when push came to shove, the allure of the brown and yellow uniform was too much and she decided to go ahead into the older age group.

She had her first taster of rugby at the weekend there. Joining Ewan for the first time. I didn't get to see how she got on as I was serving in the kitchen, but she said she enjoyed it.

Over last weekend sometime, Bethany and Jasmine decided they were starting a business. They called it Photo Artist and for some reason they are going to sell cards. I helped them build an initial website but they've actually kept up with this and have a 12 card pre-order from her Granny K so I'm going to have to help them finish their website proper.
