Cranes

Cranes over Manchester. This project I am involved with we have 2 self erecting tower cranes and 1 mobile. We are building 12 blocks of student accommodation simultaneously. Technically not that challenging but logistically and resource wise it's quite a major undertaking. The site next to ours had 2 tower cranes, 2 mobile cranes and an occasional visit from a crawler crane. In the background here you can just make out several more tower cranes on a site in Central Manchester. The economy is recovering and construction industry is dragging itself up off it's knees after 5 years of mass redundancies and companies liquidated. Let's hope it's a sustained recovery,
