A BALL OF SUNSHINE

Sunday we traveled to Grand Rapids to attend a special birthday party to celebrate the 90th birthday of our son-in-law’s mother. She is a real sweetheart and a wonderful mother-in-law to our daughter - we wouldn’t have missed her party for anything. The party also gave us an opportunity to get to know more members of our son-in-law’s family that we hadn’t had the chance to meet yet. The decorations included lovely mum plants in beautiful fall colors as centerpieces on every table. This is a picture of the mum they gave to us to take home when the party was over - what a nice surprise that was! It’s like a ball of sunshine! All in all it was wonderful time, and now I have this pretty plant to pop those memories right back in mind.
