Fall

Today was such a gorgeous day!! Temperatures were way above normal for this time of year, it easily hit the upper 80's today!

Jack had his field trip, and I had the opportunity to chaperone. We took a bus to a local farm that had a huge corn maze, hay ride and the kids got ice cream after having a picnic lunch. Then we hopped on the bus to another farm, this time, it was an apple orchard! We took wagon ride, learned about how apples grow and learned about different types of pumpkins and gourds. The kids got to pick an apple, have some apple juice, and got to go out to the field to find a gourd to take home.

It was a hot one out there, but I think all of the kids had a blast!!
