Walking the Plank

It was a cold dark day until I got back from my short walk around the block. You could see the sun was trying to come out but has only just managed to do so.. very late in the afternoon.

I took a number of interesting shots on the short walk and thought I knew what I was going to put up for my photo of the day until just about home. Then I came across this happening in the street. I got talking to one of the workers and she was interesting to talk to. She told me that they were attaching a drill in the end of the crane to be used to put in piles around this building. I didn't wait around to see it all done as I didn't know how long it would take. Here are some other shots I took as I past by!
