Rite of Spring

Now he is ten, he's growing up so much.

He was initiated into the mysteries of the lawn mower this weekend, and also showed some good-natured maturity in helping clean up for a barbecue, picking up supplies from the shops (including making sure the avocadoes he wanted so much were ripe enough to purchase), and playing AFL with a 5 year old neighbour who lacks the basic ball skills.

I guess the school holidays put everyone in a good mood :)
