Breakfast Envy

I have to think that this was a holiday couple tucking into a full English breakfast at elevenses time, while we watched with ill concealed jealousy, sipping our basic filter coffees.
Otherwise how could they have the gall to flaunt this calorie indulgence in front of a cafe full of besuited office workers conducting business over their own no- frill coffees, with not even a single cake in sight.

It was all to much, we left salivating to carry on with our grocery shopping.

On reflection, there should be a screened off area in cafes after 9am for full English breakfast eaters; out of sight and envy, allowing the rest of us to nurse our miserable drinks in peace.
