BASIL

Today I judged our first herb growing competition in the office. We know how to enjoy ourselves. Several efforts had failed completely but seeing as it was the first attempt at growing anything for some, I think it was deemed good fun.

The winning plant would have been a lot bigger but the grower had been eating it. The prize was a baguette, a hunk of Cheddar cheese, and a pack of cherry tomatoes. Then I find the winner doesn't like tomatoes. You can't win 'em all!
