my wish came true

The leaves were starting to turn red and orange & golden (and many have already made their way to the street) ....and the air was starting to have that crispness...and I just wasn't ready...and even though I know that change is inevitable, and the seasons must go round and round....I wished for summer to last just a little longer. And it happened. We have perfect beach weather for a few days. Mr. Dawdler is (a little) concerned that it's going to be even harder for me to accept Autumn after this reprieve and that may well be true. But meanwhile I'm gonna soak up as much summer as I can.
