Through the forest...

Today the weather forecast was dismal but they turned out to be wrong. The weather in Sligo was wonderful - blue skies all day and it was warm too!! We decided to walk through the forest path at Benbulbin - this is a large rock formation outside sligo. I took lots of photos of plants, of autumn leaves and of Benbulbin itself but this one I loved going through the forest.

We also learnt some of our Irish history as we followed part of the W B Yeats trail. The evening was stunning so we went to the beach at Strandhill which was busy because of the great weather.

A truly wonderful day appreciating our fine country!!
