Food stocks needed replenishing this morning, so while J+J went to Chirk Castle we drove to Oswestry. The intention was to shop then visit the castle and hill fort, but the weather turned nasty so we returned to the cottage.

It was still throwing it down after lunch but I needed a blip so went out walking in full waterproofs . At the edge of one field was some old farm machinery including this harvester which was certainly not used to cut the crop to make the bales behind it.

The chefs are doing a great job feeding us. Bacon and egg buns for breakfast today and spag bol this evening. Keeping them sweet by not posting a pic of them drinking wine in the hot tub :)
